Most matrimonial websites lock messaging, contact details and even photos behind paid plans. We think that turns a family decision into a transaction and rewards the people who pay rather than the people who are genuine.
What free means here
- Creating a profile, searching, sending interests, shortlisting and messaging accepted connections are all free, for everyone, always.
- There are no premium badges, boosts or paid ranking. Every approved member appears in search on equal terms.
- You will never be asked to pay to read a message or to see a phone number. Anyone who claims to collect money on behalf of Sanjog Darpan is a fraud: report them.
What free does not mean
- It does not mean unrestricted access to private information. Photos and contact details are shared only with the member's consent.
- It does not mean unlimited automated activity. Safety limits (for example a daily cap on new interests) protect members from spam. They cannot be bypassed by paying, because there is nothing to pay for.
How the service is sustained
Running the website costs money for hosting, email and SMS delivery. Those are the operator's costs, not yours. If this policy ever changes, the change will be announced on this page and in the terms of use before it takes effect, and you will be asked to accept the new terms.
